Join/Submit an Article

If you are interested in joining and/or submitting an article, please join our google classroom: Code will come out at the beginning of the school year.

If you are interested in joining The Shaker Bison, our meetings are every other Thursday afterschool in J112. We post reminders of our meeting dates on our Google Classroom.

Students of all class years and knowledge levels are welcome. No prior experience is required — we’ll guide you through everything you need to know! There are 4 teams that you can join: Writing/Editing, Design/Marketing, Web Design, Photo/Video.

Please be prepared to write at least four article and attend at least 50 percent of the meetings to retain membership, no matter what team you are on.

If you are interested in submitting an article, please attach your google doc to the most recent “Round __ Article Submission” assignment in our Google Classroom. The due dates of these article submissions are our meeting dates. You must attend the meeting that corresponds with the due date of the Round of submissions you are submitting under. This will allow you to join us in the editing process and help upload your article in an efficient manner.

If you do not attend that meeting, your article will not be published.
